The innovative programming of the 26-year-old Ole Miss Women’s Council for Philanthropy is intentionally designed to help University of Mississippi students excel academically while cultivating a lifelong commitment to service, philanthropy and leadership. Because of this unique approach, the Ole Miss Women’s Council has earned a national reputation as one of America’s most distinctive and forward-thinking scholarship programs.
Transformational experiences that shape the lives of our current 44 scholars include weekly master classes, monthly leadership dinners, one-on-one mentoring and coaching, lunch-and-learn events, the annual PULSE Leadership Conference and once-in-a-lifetime travel opportunities that broaden horizons and inspire new possibilities.
During the 2026-2027 academic year, our OMWC Scholars will engage with an outstanding lineup of community leaders, distinguished alumni and accomplished professionals who will challenge, inspire and help prepare them for lives of purpose and impact.
Male and female students are selected through an interview process for the OMWC Scholarships, which provide $40,000 to each recipient.
