The Ole Miss Family Leadership Council held its spring semester meeting April 22 at the Carriage House, which is part of the University of Mississippi Foundation’s home. The parents heard a presentation from Senior Associate Provost Noel Wilkin, toured the National Center for Natural Products Research and, most importantly, allocated the 2015-16 Family Leadership Council funds.

Among those participating are, front row, left to right, Alice Major, Linda Biernacki, Mitzi Linginfelter, Rebecca Hillard, Tracey Beckwith, and Evelyn Donatelli; second row, Richard Biernacki, Kala Meyer, Reese Hillard, Mary Rotunno, and James Beckwith; third row, Margaret Conolly, Jenny Nicaud, Carla Moreland, Susan Crisler, Dawn Barnett, Brett Barefoot, Kevin Bulivant and Nancy Caswell; fourth row, Bill Linginfelter, Jon Crisler, Mike Donatelli, Mike Meyer, Chuck Barnett, Ed Moreland and Lee Caswell.

The council voted on directing $83,000 to impact several Division of Student Affairs departments: University Police, Office of Financial Aid, Career Center, Campus Recreation, Student Disability Services, Student Health Services and the University Counseling Center. Barefoot, development officer for parents, coordinates the council, which works to strengthen the university.
