Sen. Trent Lott and Patricia Lott greeted Lott Scholars during a recent reception on the Oxford campus.

Former U.S. Sen. Trent Lott and his wife, Patricia Lott, both University of Mississippi alums, recently visited with public policy majors in the Lott Leadership Institute on the Oxford campus. Lott Scholars receive $4,000 each per year from the scholarship endowment, which was created to honor the Lotts, with senior scholars Cossar, Hicks and Bridges receiving $10,000 scholarships each per year.
