The University of Mississippi Foundation and University Development play vital roles—soliciting, processing, investing and disbursing private gifts to the University—each year. An increase in contributions will strengthen every school and college within the University, as well as the library. Growth of the endowment will ensure a consistent source of permanent funding for academic excellence at The University of Mississippi, thereby fulfilling its mission of education, research, and public service.
The Foundation is responsible for receiving, receipting, reporting, investing and distributing all gifts for the benefit of the University of Mississippi.
The Office of Development Services provides receipting and stewardship of funds generated from fundraising activites.
The Office of University Development is responsible for encouraging active participation from alumni and friends by contributing to The University of Mississippi.
