PRACTICUM OPPORTUNITIES IN UNIVERSITY DEVELOPMENT
The University of Mississippi Development Office provides limited opportunities for students who need to fulfill course requirements for a practicum. The number of hours per week for a student practicum experience will be determined by the student, instructor, and the Development Office.
The practicum experience is very similar to that of an internship; however, the project(s) assigned to the practicum student during the semester is usually based upon a pre-determined goal or objective, and usually depends on the course requirement and major.
